Connect monday.com and send each board to the right channel
Connecting monday.com takes about five minutes. You need a Freesbe admin with a monday.com account that can open the boards you want, and add items and updates to them. Freesbe acts in monday.com as that account, so a shared admin account works well.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Make the channels first, such as
#marketingfor the Spring launch board and#salesfor the Wholesale orders board. Make a channel private if not everyone in the workspace should see its board.
In Freesbe
Section titled “In Freesbe”- Open Workspace settings → Integrations & apps → Integrations → Projects and click Connect monday.com.
- monday.com opens and asks you to allow Freesbe. Click Authorize.
- You’re back in Freesbe, and it says monday.com connected.
Subscribe the channels
Section titled “Subscribe the channels”- Under Channel subscriptions, click Subscribe a channel.
- Pick the board and the channel. The default posts new items, status changes and assignments; tick Comments for more.
- Optional: list statuses under Only these statuses (
Stuck, Done) so only those moves post. - Click Subscribe, then open its ⋯ menu and click Post a sample card to see one in the channel.
People can do the same from the channel itself: /monday subscribe Spring launch.
Split one board across channels
Section titled “Split one board across channels”Subscribe the same board more than once, each to its own channel with its own picks: for example
everything to #marketing, and only moves to Stuck to #leadership.
See monday.com for everything the cards and previews show. If nothing arrives, check the connecting account can open the board in monday.com and that the subscription is on.
